LEGO Builder’s Journey can't run / runs poorly on my PC - what can I do?

EPIC GAMES STORE

First, launch LEGO Builder's Journey on Classic Mode:

  1. Open the Epic Games Launcher.

  2. Go to your Library.

  3. Click on the three dots next to LEGO Builder’s Journey

  4. Select Manage

  5. From Installation, select the Folder icon

  6. In the LEGOBuildersJourney folder, double-click on Launcher.exe

  7. Select Classic Mode from the pop-up launch option.

The content of the game is the same, but the graphics are scaled down.

STEAM

First, launch LEGO Builder's Journey on Classic Mode:

  1. Start Steam

  2. Launch LEGO Builder's Journey from your Steam Library

  3. Select Classic Mode from the pop-up launch option.

If the game runs without issue, We recommend quitting the game and restarting it in DirectX 11 Mode or DirectX12 Mode. To do so, please do the following below:

  1. Launch LEGO Builder's Journey from your Steam Library

  2. Select DirectX 11/12 Mode from the pop-up launch option.

Once in the game, head to Options then Graphics. There, don't hesitate to edit one or more of the graphics settings: each has a different impact on performance, and you might find the perfect Custom settings for your system beyond the Graphic Quality preset (LOW, MEDIUM, HIGH).

Can I buy a physical version of LEGO Builder’s Journey?

No, currently only digital versions are available for purchase.

On iPhone, i dont hear any sounds or music

Please check that Silent Mode is switched off. It’s the little button on the side of the phone that silences calls. Many iOS apps ignore this switch, but we respect it.

I have experienced a crash on Nintendo Switch

We have had a few reports of crashes on Nintendo Switch, and neither we nor Nintendo have been able to make the game crash. If you do experience a crash, please contact us on the support email below, we would very much like to understand what happened so that we might address the issue in a future release.

In all reported cases so far, the issue was fixed by deleting the game from the console (save games will remain intact) and re-installing the game from Nintendo eShop.
